(ROUTE 125/133) CHICKERING ROAD AND MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED WORK

Project Description:

The project will provide safety improvements at the intersection of Route 125 (Chickering Road) and Massachusetts Avenue. This work includes minor widening for turn lanes, improving geometric alignments of turning lanes, new wheelchair ramps and sidewalks, new pavement markings, new signage, traffic signal upgrades, and drainage improvements.

Additionally, the utility poles along Massachusetts Avenue will be relocated in order to accommodate the new sidewalks.
